Not impressed! It was mostly chinese. We started with salad rolls and they were good, but looked horrible, like my husband rolled them. The stuffed dumplings were absolutely awful. Ice cold inside, and the dough was dry with chunks of flour in it. My husband got the Noodle deluxe and it was pretty bad, very sweet, hardly any meat. We took it home to doctor it up for his lunch tomorrow. I had the Pho and the broth was so-so. It had huge chunk of chicken, little of beef and no calamari. We will pass next time, waist of $30

By far the best Chinese food in St Helens! Fresh vegetables galore, not overly salted, no msg- can't say enough good things about this place! The cute garden and koi pond was an added bonus!

In all honesty if Kuy's was in Portland or Seattle I'd probably give them 4 stars, but given that it's in St Helens 5 stars all the way. About the only con I have is that they can be a bit inconsistent, we've never had a bad meal, but have had some that were well below what i know they can do. We tend to go for the Cambodian and Vietnamese dishes rather than the Thai and Chinese. Nice vegetarian menu.

We love this little place owned by a lovely proprietor who has got a lot of gumption and guts in this small town. I love that the menu has something for everyone, regular Chinese-American, Cambodian, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. It s fresh and tasty, staff Is friendly. Regulars are every where and groups are welcome.

Just to make sure we are clear(other reviewers), Kuy's is Vietnamese Food. Growing up in St. Helens and eating here quite frequently under my mother's influence, I was quite spoiled and didn't know it. After having lived in the Bay Area for the last 15 years, I have had my share of over-oyster-sauced-beef-with-broccoli, really amazing Pho and some quite delicate meals that balance flavors perfectly. When you are in St. Helens & Kuy is cooking, there is no doubt that this can compete with the best.

Because of the location & appearence I went in expecting the worst but with high hopes. I wasn't disappointed, the food was great. Not your standard American/Chinese menu. The manager was very helpful explaining & recommending some dishes for us. We got take-out this time but will be back to enjoy their quaint dinning room someday.

We always enjoy the food and the service here! It's in a strange location on the other side of the railroad tracks so you have to know to turn off HWY 30 to Columbia and then to Milton Way, which is probably why we'd lived here for years before noticing it. but once we did, we keep going back. Huge portions - we can order 2 dinners to serve our family of 4 - but don't because we like leftovers. We've not tried a dessert or had any drinks here other than the free tea and water, but now that I realize that, I will soon. Service is good, staff friendly. The building is old, really small bathroom off a back hall, kids love the fish pond on the way in. It's a good choice in St. Helens.

Food was greasy, caused a couple upset stomachs, place was deserted and now we know why. Sadly St. Helens still hasn't gotten a quality restaurant in all the years since I move away.

Wow! That's all I got to say. The food here is very, very, very good. Great variety, there is something for everyone.. spicy hot, warm, or just plain old rice, it's ALL good at Kuy's. If you haven't tried it, you need to. The menu is sophisticated enough for "Foodies" and simple enough for inexperienced diners. The place isn't elegant (hey, it's St. Helens) but if you wanted a quiet romantic corner, they'd set you up that way. But the decor isn't bad either -- it's nicely decorated inside with solid furniture, good lighting, and good service. Highly recommended!

I had the number 95 the spicy chicken coconut soup. And let me tell you it was the best Thai soup I've ever had...and I've had alot! I made sure to peek my head in the kitchen and say thank you! We also had the rice paper rolls and they were delicious. I really like the sauce. super friendly and will be making the trip to St. Helens to take my fiance. YUMMM!!

This was not a good meal. Started with them bringing me a boken not up to code highchair for my baby to sit in and then was rude when i brought that to her attention. I'm not even sure what we ate. The thai didn't taste at all like thai and the chicken was very chewy. Wont be going back.

Delicious Cambodian food. We loved the coconut chicken soup, stir fry and sauces. Also, Kuy is very supportive of the community. This is a local business to support.

When you move from the city to a small town, you learn to sacrifice when it comes to quality dining. This is not the case here in St. Helens, Oregon. We have been here for 7 years, and found this jewel of a restaurant by chance. Kuy's (pronounced "Qwees") is a family owned and ran Asian restaurant. They serve the best noodles (Willy Noodles) that covers all of the meat groups with Chicken, Beef, Pork, and even some Shrimp. My wife is particularly fond of the curry coconut chicken soup. We have never been there and not had a great meal, oh and their Pad Thai is pretty good as well, the peanut sauce is phenomenal. 7 years and counting and we still visit often and order take-out from time to time. Your trip up the Colombia river would be a waste of time if you don't stop off for a good meal.
